Process: Rebecca McGee Tuck A series of online artist talks hosted by Atac160 Downtown Arts and Music

Using What I Have, Staying Motivated, and Keep Making Art Throughout the Pandemic

"During the stay at home order, I transformed my dining room into a makeshift studio. With nowhere to go for supplies, I used what I could from around the house.  The 'Pandemic House' sculpture started with my sewing machine and materials that I collected from around the house. As with everyone else, my family was living, eating and working in the same area 24/7. Inspired by the news affecting us daily; covid-19, online school, protests, I began the process of making a sculpture that kept me to stay creative, while actively becoming a three-dimensional journal of the time." -Rebecca McGee Tuck

Process is a series of talks with artists and performers who speak to whichever part of their process they choose, with equal time for audience questions and comments.

This event will take place through Zoom as well as being streamed to Facebook Live. A ticket purchase guarantees the ability to ask the lecturer questions directly (in text or through video) as well as priority to have questions answered.
